Work Simulation

Lebanon Physical Therapy is equipped with a specific area designed to be as similar to your place of employment as possible. In this area activities are performed that simulate the actions required at your work place. Mining jobs are simulated in a specifically designed area at Lebanon Physical Therapy. Judy Lockridge has had the opportunity to teach and work inside the local coal mines which assist her with understanding the job you may be required to perform. Other industries around the region are also represented.

At the conclusion of your work conditioning your physician may request you have a Functional Capacity Evaluation performed. This is a test which formally tests your entire functional ability, and effort toward these tests. It is performed by a therapist who has been trained specifically to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations. You should wear comfortable clothing, and anticipate staying for this test 4 - 8 hours. A partial Functional Capacity Evaluation can be performed for basic Disability Questionnaire Form Information.

Employment Physicals are scheduled through Work Well for contracted businesses. These physicals take approximately 30 minutes to perform.
